Weather will get warmer this weekend
RIGA, July 22 (LETA) - According to the weather forecast, temperatures in Latvia will rise this weekend, with brief showers in some areas.
Over the next few days, cloud cover will be variable, with brief showers in some areas and possible thunderstorms. Fog will form in some areas at night, and temperatures will drop to +8..+14 degrees C. On Thursday, temperatures will not exceed +16 to +21 degrees C; on Friday and Saturday, they will rise to +18 to +23 degrees C; and on Sunday, temperatures will reach +20 to +25 degrees C.
Next week will be warmer; on some days, the temperature may climb to +28 degrees C, with occasional rain and thunderstorms expected.
According to data from the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts, August in Latvia is expected to be about one degree warmer than normal, while precipitation during the last month of summer could be close to normal.
